I have been in the fitness industry almost 10 years now coaching hundreds both online and 1-1 in the gym.
I specialise in body transformations and helping individuals become the best they can be . I found my love for the gym and training during my teens and have been lucky enough to make my hobby and passion my career.

In 2020 I was fortunate enough to be able to get the chance of co- owning my own gym , here at Astar. I love the energy and buzz of our gym and all our members! I really do believe we have the best gym In the area!

About Marina

From a young age I have always been involved in sports. From the age of 6 I trained in judo until about 12 years old. From the age of 21 I started to go to the gym and started lifting weights.
I constantly trained for 5 – 6 years before my first local bodybuilding competition. It was my first show and I won.

After this I got to qualify for the British Final in toned figure, I also won this. Since then I have been competing every year, my biggest achievement was in 2015 when I was competing at BodyPower in Birmingham and I came 3rd place at body fitness class.

I am currently now a Personal Trainer helping my clients achieve their goals whatever their requirements are – getting fitter, loosing weight, bodybuilding, gaining muscle, nutrition plans. I am a big believer in healthy balanced life style. Most of my clients are ladies of all ages. I always advise my clients to lift heavy to enhance their physique. Consistently is the key

About Dave

I have always been into sport but my fitness journey really started when I went to University to study coaching. With a love for sport and gym I got myself involved in strength and conditioning and was lucky enough to work under Gateshead academy for sport and Castleford Tigers.

I decided I wanted more involvement in nutrition and started my personal training business in 2015. I take an evidence based approach to coaching and specialise in achieving quick and efficient transformations.

About Tim

I have always had a passion for the sports industry, starting with rugby league, gaining a scholarship, and then into bodybuilding from my late teens. I have competed several times in different classes and was a mens physique British finalist in 2018. The following year i stepped up to classic physique and won my class and got 2nd in the overall.

My working background is mainly within mental health working unto management level and gaining a wide variety of qualifications in the 7 years. I then moved onto teaching in pupil referral units before becoming a personal trainer late 2020. i believe i have found my true passion in the fitness industry as its in my nature to help people on a daily basis. I’m excited for what the future holds and grateful for the opportunity at A-star.

About Ryan

I have always been very active and heavily involved with sport from an early age competing in running , football , rugby , boxing and many other aspects of fitness until I believe I found my passion in the gym which was weight training and functional fitness. I have also competed in Bodybuilding so have a very extensive background in all aspects of health and fitness.

I quickly developed and advanced myself to completely transforming my own physique and mindset and then decided I could help anyone who needed the knowledge achieve what they never thought was possible.
