Keith has been a personal trainer for 8 years and lives and breathes fitness, he can’t get enough of it.

“I strive to get the best out of my clients and aim to get the best results possible by tailoring the sessions to specifically suit each individual’s needs.

About Marina

From a young age I have always been involved in sports. From the age of 6 I trained in judo until about 12 years old. From the age of 21 I started to go to the gym and started lifting weights.
I constantly trained for 5 – 6 years before my first local bodybuilding competition. It was my first show and I won.

After this I got to qualify for the British Final in toned figure, I also won this. Since then I have been competing every year, my biggest achievement was in 2015 when I was competing at BodyPower in Birmingham and I came 3rd place at body fitness class.

I am currently now a Personal Trainer helping my clients achieve their goals whatever their requirements are – getting fitter, loosing weight, bodybuilding, gaining muscle, nutrition plans. I am a big believer in healthy balanced life style. Most of my clients are ladies of all ages. I always advise my clients to lift heavy to enhance their physique. Consistently is the key

I quickly developed and advanced myself to completely transforming my own physique and mindset and then decided I could help anyone who needed the knowledge achieve what they never thought was possible.

I’m 39 years of age and have been involved in sport all my life, from representing my country at Rugby Union through the school ranks, U’19’s & U’21’s to becoming a full time professional for Sale Sharks for 5 years. Then leaving to go to Leeds Met University and play semi professional Rugby Union until only a few years back.

I obtained my Degree in Sports Performance and the did my Level 3 Personal Trainer Qualification and have PT’d ever since.

I specialise in strength & conditioning and fat loss.

I’m an all action PT who gives his all and equally expect’s the client to give their all in every session they do and every task I set!!

About Abbie

Hey! I’m Abbie, the newest addition to the Astar family and I’m here to help every single one of you find your fierce again. Like many, I was teased about my weight in high school. I’ve been through tough times and experienced some pretty serious trauma in my life, but the one thing that was a constant as I was becoming an adult… Was how amazing I felt when I was in the gym. I qualified as a PT during Lockdown 2020, after 10 years training experience. I work really well with newbies and gym anxiety, and as a girl with IBS and a million food intolerances, I believe I can teach even the fussiest eaters how to understand, appreciate and enjoy their food again. If you’re a person who likes to know WHY they are doing something, and HOW to do it properly, to help build long term, healthy habits for life… Then I am the gal for you.

From a very young age I have always been involved in competitive sport. I was lucky enough to spend time as a professional Thai Boxer in Thailand before returning to the UK to follow up my passion as a PT.

I have since personally competed in bodybuilding over the past decade, winning 3 shows and going on to place third in the British finals in 2021.

I’m a total body and mindset transformation specialist. If you’re looking for tailored nutrition and training plans to lose weight, improve overall health and fitness, improve self confidence or if you are potentially looking to compete in bodybuilding,

I have a wealth of experience in all these fields and would be happy to discuss your personal goals and how we can achieve them.

About Alice

Hi I’m Alice, A-star’s apprentice and I am currently studying towards a level 3 personal training qualification.

From a young age I’ve always been an active person since doing dance and involving myself with sports at school.

After recently attending college for 2 years to complete three A levels in photography, history and English, I developed a passion for the gym and exercising. I found myself going to the gym and keeping active whenever I had a free period at college and realised how much I loved it!

Since doing the subjects I did at A level, I always had a vision of being a writer or doing some sort of digital marketing job. However, I realised I wanted a job where I could stay active and be on my feet and that’s when I realised my passion for fitness could be incorporated within my career.

I found myself staying consistent with the gym and wanted to eventually help other people do the same! “Sometimes you don’t always need a plan of where to go, it’s the destination that counts”

About Isabel

Hi I’m Isabel , Astar’s newest apprentice and I’m currently studying towards a level 3 personal training qualification.

Prior to my apprenticeship I attended White Rose Beauty college and gained a qualification in makeup and special effects as I had passion for makeup before completing a photography course. Whilst I enjoyed this, it wasn’t something I found my self gaining a career out off long term.

In my spare time I had started going to a local gym to loose some weight and get into shape, it was when I found myself in the gym 24/7 I truly found a passion for it . I became a happier and healthier version of myself. I went on to loose 4 stone in weight !!

This has really changed me as a person and I’m now much more confident and content within myself and my outlook on life.

I decided to apply for the apprenticeship as I wanted to help other people who have been in my position and show them that you can become a better version of yourself through attending the gym the same way I did. I also always want to help other people feel comfortable in the gym because I know how triggering and daunting it can be when stepping into the gym for the very first time.

I’m super excited to see where the next year takes me and how i progress as a personal trainer. I am 100% committed and loving every minute at Astar!!! I’m very grateful for this opportunity.
